Graduation

I am working on the memory slideshow for my daughter's senior class. Does anyone have a great song that they've heard that would work behind the kids songs? Keep in mind that they go to a Christian School. We don't have to use Christian music...but we can't have anything with abrasive or vulgar language anywhere in the lyrics.

PS: i just thought of another song that is beautiful and very fitting...Your daughter was talking about losing her dad 3 years ago...My granddaughter had this song sung at her wedding and it made us all cry...."Butterfly kisses"

Wind beneath my wings is a great song. My husband and I sing that for weddings all the time. Last year, the choir sang it, and dedicated it to all the parents in the Spring show. All the kids had a solo and all the mama's cried.

Something this uplifting and done instrumentally would be my pick. That would suit the situation and not offer anything offensive at all. Graduation is a wonderful step and I hope that the day goes well without any problems.

"Remember When" by Alan Jackson. My mom did a slide show of my husband and I at our wedding and she used that song. It's a tear jerker.
