Refrigerator is flooding kitchen Help!

My kitchen is flooding from the refrig. I can't move it. The seals are ok. The drip pan had a little water but is fine. Cannot locate the defrost drain. The refrig came with the house and I never had a problem with it since 98. The previous owner unplugged or disabled the ice maker which is ok with me. I use trays. This is way too much water for a simple defost cycle. Let me know if you had similar experiences and the outcome. And where is the DIY/Home repair section? lol!

If the ice maker were used at one time, there would be a water line running to it that must have been plugged off. Maybe the line is leaking or the plug has come loose?

Thanks for the response. That's what I thought too but I just can't get behind it or pull it out to look.

Result- Plumber came, went under the house to shut the line down permanently. Moved refrig back, leveled it, which was nice. I can't see any other way for water to get in the frig now. $68.00 charge. At least I don't have to buy a new refrig. lol!

Stop yapping on Mylot and get some towels out. My fridge makes a bit of mess when defrosting even though it has defrost tray. Sounds like you need a professional out?

haha Been doing that all morning. Had to sit a while. I try to fix little things before I spend a bunch of money on a plumber and was hoping someone could suggest something I hadn't thought of. But I've called my plumber and am awaiting his response.

Oh No! I feel bad for you. I hate for things like that to happen. I wish I could help you....

That's very kind of you. But I'm satisfied with a plumber's bill of $68 as opposed to replacing the refrig which could be $1000 or more. Then you'll hear me screaming. lol!

Ya, my friends hade a simmilar experience, they immediately called for a tecnical help, the person told them that there is a internal leakage of defrost drain, and it could very easily have cause a short-circuit , so i would request you to call an expert.
