Update on my neice who's being harassed by her Sub.

After MANY, MANY Calls to everyone and anyone, the school board took upon themselves to go ahead and check the records on all of my neices visits to the principal's office. (since this year they actually had to start signing in, when they went down and by whom they were sent. Turns out only one teacher (or rather sub teacher) was sending her to the office, and it was every time the sub was there for one of my neices classes.....Hmmm they thought, mom was also able to retreive 2 emails off her computer, both from the sub to my neices ex-boyfriend...And they both contained my neices name and comments like "I don't feel you and (my neice) should be together"....and "I overheard (my neices) out in the hall talking about how cute she thought some boy was, you really need to do something to end this relationship." The board was less than happy, and has suspended her from teaching in the school while my neice is attending ... They'll probably let her come back next year.. But then it'll be someone elses problem. At least my neice can finish her senior year with out having to worry about some sub compermizing with her B average .... As for the loss of her 3year relationship with the boy, she's gradually getting over that at well, of coarse the fact that she has 2 colleges fighting over her for attendance with a full basketball scholarship helps.

OMG! That is awful! Of course being sent to the principals office for no reason is bad...but the thing that got me the most here was the sub communicating with your nieces boyfriend and saying those things to him! That is PURE spiteful and so cruel! Not to mention childish! Isn't that something jealous teens do in highschool movies! I'm glad she got in trouble, finally!

Fantastic... I am standing and applauding as we speak... finally someone saw the light and yanked it out on that woman. Just as it should be.Maybe by next year, the news will spread and parents pull together to stop her from teaching anymore altogether at least in your county. Congrats!

I am so glad to hear that that teacher isn't teaching anymore for this year. It's too bad it couldn't be indefinite as she has no right to do what she did. That is great though that your niece is doing so well and has 2 colleges fighting over her. Good for her!
