My dog ate my dental floss

I've been hearing some pretty funny stories about other people's pets who've eaten stringy objects and I wrote a blog in detail about what happened last night. Has anyone here ever had their pet eat their shoelaces, pantyhose or dental floss and would like to share their experience? Here's a link to my blog (There are some funny stories in here, too!): http://talesandhorrorsofawriter.blogspot.com/

I had a dog and the first Christmas I had him he ate the silver tinsel off the tree. I did not know this until I took him out to go to due his business. I was so embarrassed, here I am waiting as he is going and when I look down all this shiny silver tinsel is coming out of his butt, to make matters worse some of his poop was attached to the strings and wouldn't disconnect so as he started to walk he had a trail of poopie tinsel following him and now he was drawing a crowd of on-lookers. I had to get some newspaper and pull it out for him. That was the last time I used tinsel on my Christmas tree.

Well my dog ate my bank card! It fell out of my hand bag. I had to go to my bank a get money until my new card came through. He can be quite a silly dog. He has a long sort of nose that he likes to put in people's pockets! He loves getting a tissue. Shoelaces he always undoes and then people can fall over. He loves taking people's socks.

Your bank card?! That sounds even more serious than dental floss. Did anything serious happen to him?
