Have you ever been arrested for something you didn't do?

I was taken to jail for driving on a suspended license. It wasn't suspended and never was. The DMV had no explanation for this. I think it was because I didn't submit to them. I don't call anyone sir unless they deserve it. As far as I'm concerned I can protect myself and want my tax dollars back. They thought they were doing me harm and teaching me a lesson by pulling me over for no reason and taking me to jail. I'll trade that night in jail for the thousands of dollars you saved me on my car insurance. Because of some dumb cops the DMV erased everything from my driving record. Thanks guys. It was a perfect example of dumb cop. Did you know that they will not high someone with IQ to be a cop? So if you are smart chances are you will not be a police officer. The reason is they think smart people will leave the force to get a better job. I guess they know you have to be dumb to be a cop. LOL I am just pointing out the fact and making fun of it. This being said... NO WONDER WHY INNOCENT PEOPLE GO TO JAIL WITH IDIOTS MAKING THE DECISIONS.

No, but my husband was... This happened almost 2 weeks ago. We had received a check in the mail (which was made out to him only) for a sum of money (which I'll referain from mentioning) from an online business that he was trying to get going. OK, so we go to the bank an try and cash the thing...it was taking forever, and I figured this wasn't good. I had to excuse myself for a moment. I came back, and I saw a police officer standing next to my husband holding the check--it was a forged check!! Neither my husband nor I had any idea that it was a fake!! They took my husband in saying that he was in possesion of a forged instrument and the attempt to cash the thing! I was hysterical to say the least. I had no idea what was going to happen to him or me for that matter. I was so scared. He was released eariler this week (he only spent 6 days in jail). No charges were ever filed against him, thank God! But the whole situation pissed me off. I'm still upset about it now. What we are trying to do now is to get the company that sent the check to us shut down. If they are a fraud, then we need to do something, so that this doesn't happen to someone else. He is innocent and it's the company that should be held accountable for doing these things.

I did spend a night in jail one time...we were all out at a bar, this is when I was with my ex,we were dancing ,drinking and having a good time...Anyway my ex was really drunk and he accidently stumbled over a policemans foot, they cuffed him to take him to jail...Well I got angry because i did not feel they had the right to do that,so i got a little smart with them, and did not know how to shut up,so they took me to jail too...I was scared and all those tough women really scared me..Never want to go through that again..
