Voodoo

Do you believe in voodoo? I do, and I try to stay away from it cause it scares the beegeebee out of me. What about you?

This question will make an African laugth...as Voodoo is an African religion brought to America by slavery... In some part of Africa today (Benin,Nigeria,Ghana,Togo, Central African countries) voodoo is more popular than modern religion brought to Africa too. I believe in voodoo because it's just a reality in Africa...

It was also brought to the western world from Haiti as well actually....Vodou is actually a very beautiful religion that has gotten a SERIOUSLY bad wrap thanks to misinformation and damn hollywood...

The only real power of voodoo is psychosomatic, so if you believe then it can naturally do a great deal of harm. If you accept that there is no real power involved, then voodoo is totally powerless and cannot harm anyone.

I try to believe in all religions, and for that, I try to understand them, to learn about them. Do you understand voodoo to be scared about it? what do you actually know from it? its Gods? its legends? If you know something, please join my discussion on that purpose, so that others can understand it better.
