Which one do you prefer?

Do you prefer the first or the second dragon heart movie? I personally prefer the 2nd one. I like Dennis Quiad and his character in the first, but I like the characters more in the 2nd one. Esp. the friar boy, he's funny. And I like the dragon more in the 2nd one also. I just think theres more going on in the second one and I like the action. What do you guys think?

i like both, though i like the 1st one better.
the 2nd one is the one with 2 dragons right? i like the part where the young dragon sneezed ice. c",)

lol yes the second one has 2 dragons, the villian turns into one at the end. I liked the sneezing part to, Mansel is so funny. I like Joff's(sp?) accent in that movie, esp. when he's telling the bad guy what happened and he says
"he was tryin to teach drake to blow fire, and it came out the other end." Lol his accent is sooo cute!

hahaha... and that part where drake blew the fire the other way is the same time when i farted beside my girlfriend and she was totally stunned by what just happened. got totally mugged by her after she found out what i just did. hahaha...

I have seen one of the dragon heart movies i have no clue whether it is the first or the second one. I think probably the second. I liked the movie a lot. Its a nice family kinda of movie where all at home can sit together and watch it.
At first when i heard the name of the movie "Dragon Heart" i thought that the dragon was bad killing people like in the Godzilla. But it turned out to be the opposite. And i felt ending very sad. And then when he rose up and finally completed the family of stars it looked so cute.
Very nice movie. For those who haven't watched it please do so.

Oh! With what you said about the eneding; you must have seen the first one. With Dennis Quiad right? The famous actor. And the dragons name was Drako. Evil boy king guy right? lol. I think you saw the first because the second doesn't have a sad ending like that.
Now I would recommend you see the 2nd one, it's cute. It has a lot of funny moments, and the chraacters are very likable.

The original Dragonheart is more of a classic, the second one moved more towards cheesy comedy a lot of the time, but I still love them both. I enjoyed laughing at the second one and the cute little dragon, and the big fight scene at the end was ok. But nothing beats Sean Connery as Draco, and the original Dragonheart definately had a bigger budget and better CGI work and script.

What was the second movie called? I don't think I've ever acctually seen it - unless it involves some Chinese people trying to kill a dragon. I remember that from somewhere but I don't know if it was the sequal to Dragon Heart. Could anyone shed some light on this for me?
Also: this may be presumptious of me, but originals are usually better than sequals, so I dont see why this would be any different.
I really liked the ending of Dragon Heart, and to some extent I feel that any direct continuation from it would spoil it.

Yes there were two Chinese people that were going to test Drake and see if they had to kill him or not. It is called Dragonheart: A new Beginning.
I liked the story line of the second one, but the dragons graphics weren't good like in the first one. I don't know why they could make the dragon in the first look cool, but the one in the second looked totally animated! I think it the graphics were better I would have liked the second one a lot more.
