Something is nibbling on my indoor plants..

I could have a bug feasting on my greens. I've determined that its NOT my cats, even though they try to enjoy some salad now and then. I need something to put on them to keep the bugs off but will not hurt the cats if they do get around the plants. All of my plants that would cause the fur babies to get sick are placed well out of reach, so rest assured they are not getting into anything that would make them sick. I still want to make sure that anything that I would use would be harmless to pets in case though. Is there any organic stuff to make the bugs go away? I'm not even sure I have a bug problem but I have very small holes on my plants, looks like little chew holes. I can't find anything nesting on the plants though. Ideas?

try disolving some ivory snow in water and spraying your plants with that. the soap clogs most bugs' pores and they suffocate in a matter of about half an hour.

I forgot, saturate the soil as well, since many bugs that eat plants live IN the soil during the day

You might have spider mites, they're tiny red/orange bugs that will chew holes in your leaves.Try sprinkling cayenne pepper on the leaves and in the dirt. Also put orange peels in the dirt around your plant, it will prevent future breakouts and keep the cats out of them, the citric acid is to strong for them.
