Rutabagas

Do you prefere your pasties with or without rutabagas? I like them with.

I'm starting to come around on this one. I used to think it was nasty to have rutabagas in there, but I am realizing that: A: You can't taste them. B: They soak up moisture so the pasty is delicious.

I think they add color and pizzazz...just kidding!!! I like them there just because I can taste the slight difference.

My mom actually makes mashed rutabagas sometimes- ever had that?

yeah my gram makes them and my hubby eats almost the whole bowl everytime!!!

They are excellent!!! Beef , potatoes, onions, rutabagas all wrapped up in pastie dough and hen you bake them in the oven!! YUMMMMYYY
