Awww, congratulations!! I'm getting my own place in July (house-sharing at the mo) and i can't wait! Don't have any kiddies yet, but one day!!

That is wonderful. I send you and your family all the best. It is so much nicer to have a home to call your own to raise your children in. I think it really gives them stability. I didn't have that stability when I raised my kids and I felt it was a real disservice to them. I have it now and really know the difference. I am proud of you. Many blessings are sent your way.

I wanted to have the house before having the baby but that wasn't the right timing.
But now that we have a house, my little girl will be able to play outside in the backyard :)

I'm still working on getting things in order to buy my first house, but I know one day I'll be ready. I got set back by a couple years in my excpected timeline by medical expenses, but right now my family has a decent rental situation, and in couple years I think we'll be ready to get a house.

Congratulations on the new house and the new baby girl Emma. Your daughter and wife will proud to have a husband and father who takes care of them. My husband and me just got our credit score up to 698 and we are looking into trying to get some places. We just dont have the money for closing costs and down payments at the moment. We are in our mid 20's and hope by the time we are both 30 to have a home for our daughter aaliyah. And hopefully for a little boy to be down the road. My husband and me are working on having a little boy. It will be a Chris Jr. You get the picture. I am going back to work and putting my daughter in daycare and taking some online classes to finish getting my high school diploma and then maybe i'll take some college computer courses too. I want to be able to provide my family with a decent income. Tired of living paycheck to paycheck. But congrats to you and the best of luck.
