Is there anyone who has never left their state?

I just couldn't imagine. There's so much to see and so many people to meet. I knew a guy in college who never left Michigan. If you are never going to leave a place, it shouldn't be MI! I love it there because of family, but I needed to see more. I could say that if I lived in Washington or California and never left, I would be ok.

Yes, I know some people like this. My one friend has never been on a plane and only left his state once. And that was for his honeymoon. I find it so sad that people can live such sheltered lives. I'm sure they are very happy, but there is so much out there to see and do. People to meet and things to do.

Yes, I agree. I just didn't want to offend anyone by saying anymore. I guess if you lived in a place like Ithaca though, which I think is a pretty open minded town, and never have left, you might be ok. However, who doesn't want to travel and see other things? I crave it.

I live in FL and I've spent one week out of Florida in my life. Ironically, it was to Michigan. And there is nothing there..:-/

No, but northern MI is very nice. Especially in the fall. Believe me, I am not trying to change your mind. I've been to Florida and loved the Keys. I hated getting too much sun though!
