Have you watched "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader"? What did you think?

We hadn't watched it before tonight, but caught it while we were flipping channels. I was just dumbfounded by the lady that *wasn't sure* what country was just to the north of the U.S. She asked the fifth grader. And then she told Jeff Foxworthy (the host) that "this isn't easy!"
Give me a break. Can real people actually be so dumb?! I think she won $25,000 in the end, and the guy before her (equally ridiculous) won $50,000. Wouldn't it be awesome to get rich quick for being stupid?!
We definitely won't be watching this show again. What do you think of it?

I would be embarassed to be on a show like that or to be affiliated in any way. The kids were ok, I mean they are only 5th graders...but the adults...they must have dropped out of school way before 5th grade.
I hope the adults are not representative of the general population., if they are, then we are in real trouble.

I enjoy the show, its a shame so many adults are so stupid, but I do laugh at them.

I love that show! Honestly I don't know all the answers, and I like testing my knowledge. i get all the math and spelling questions right but I can never seem to get the science and geology questions right. :( I think its funny seeing how stupid people are when the answer is staring them right in the face. In my opinion this is a great show!

I didn't care for the show and I don't believe some of the questions they say thar are for some of the other grades.Found it kinda boring.

I actually love the show. I was truly shocked by that same woman....I wonder how much of it is nerves and freezing up?
I find the kids to be very cute and for some reason can't wait to watch the next episode...
