Have you ever wondered this? Last week I watched a " heated debate " over
the topic of religion I participated in this discussion as well, but not in the way you might think. There were people on the site trying to convince other individuals as to why their religion was better. I am curious....why do we ( people in general )
find it necessary to absolutely dominate a conversation , and insist that our opinions are the correct choice? This may sound obtuse , but honestly...why can't
we accept each other? Are we so competetive , that we put asunder all things which truley matter? I have learned a lot from observing people , and their reactions
towards specific issues. And the "one common thread " is...that people don't listen to what other people are saying. They simply react...like a defense Mechanism.
On my own Behalf...I try to remain aware of this. I work on applying this
when ever I post. Because at the end of the day...that's all the other person really wanted from you , for you to " hear " them.
