Turn Signal Audio Enhancement

I'm partially hearing impaired and drive a Kia. I can't hear the tic-tic of the turn signals so I frequently drive a distance with the signal still on, to the annoyance and concern of my wife. I would love to be able to increase the sound, preferably with an adjustable volume control, but I'm willing to try just about anything. Car-parts dealers here in Costa Rica are not any help, and electronics stores are completely baffled by this problem. Surely there must be a way to construct a simple device to do this??? Any ideas would be gratefully received. Thanks ----------- Mapache
