myLot emails....

I´ve noticed that I receive an email from myLot now, when I have a pending friends request. In my opinion it makes things easier for us. What´s your opinion regarding this new feature? Thanks in advance.

I haven't noticed this at all, may one of the improvements that MyLot does in response to members suggestions. Could help make life easier.

Oddly enough I didn´t get an email from them today inspite of having a pending friends request. Maybe they are waiting for some feedback from us?

I've just had a pending request and didn't get an e-mail about it, either they are only doing it sporadically or perhaps they will send the e-mails after a certain length of time if there is no response to the pending request.

Yes , I love to get mails that sombody has responded to my discussions and my friend ......... has started a new discussion . Regarding a new friends request it's like " sone pe suhaga "( getting a diamond instead of gold. ) I like to see new people interested in making friends and are really desperate to get along with mylot and want friends to stand beside them . My opinion on this new feature ,okay ,good,excellent,amazing,great,mind-blowing etc. :)

That is pretty interesting because I do not get emails when I have pending friend requests. Was it a private message or an email message to you? Since I am on here a lot, it probably would not make a difference to me too much since I check my friends list frequently and have a few pending right now.

Dana I get that occassionally not all the time so I don't know if they only do it now and again or if it something they are testing. But yes it will make things easier as such Hugs to you

I wonder if mylot is testing out features to add. I haven't received any emails regarding pending friends request. Just the standard new discussions my friends started, responses to my discussions and when I have an email waiting. I would like to be notified of a pending friends request. Maybe mylot is monitoring the discussions as I type to see if this is something that the community would like to see. :)

I think it is a good idea , i used to say yes automatically but then I often got PM to ask me to join new sites , I now leave then until the post on some discussions then I accept xx

Hi Dana. I have not seen this feature, nor have I ever heard from them when I email them. Are you referring to MyLot police, or the members?

You receive an email from mylot to your inbox telling you that you´ve got a pending friends request. It´s just to let you know. Maybe they´ve noticed that it´s easy to overlook pending friends requests on the site itself. Blessings Dana

I have gotten several friend requests over the past few days and no emails from myLot to let me know, so I guess they either come sporadically or they just know that I don't leave the site long enough to have missed seeing them there. It would be a nice feature though. I think it would make things easier for us.

I like it I would also like it if someone posted a comment to your comment on a disscussion by someone else that you woudl get oen then too. Confused yet lol
