I need to know what the interest rates were from 1996 -2007 for 5 year certificate of deposits in US banks

hi! you might not be interested. im here in philippines. but i have lots of friends from USA invested there money here. we have a 3 year time deposit and it will double your money. which means 33% per annum. minimun deposit is 100thousand pesos or 2000 dollars...
