Has anybody here bought the series on DVD?

I loved this show when I was a kid. Davy was always my favorite, even when I was 6.:D I recently found the shows on DVD and bought them on eBay along with a few of the CD's. So far I've won season 2 and am up to get season 1 soon.

I have never seen the show! The Monkees were around way before I was, so I didn't really have a chance to enjoy the stuff that a lot of the older fans are familiar with. I didn't even know they had a show until a while ago. I guess I'll try and find the DVDs somewhere... or maybe wait for someone to post snippets of it on YouTube.... if they don't get sued by Viacom first.

I bought both sets off of eBay, one still new & factory sealed and the other one nearly new. But if you decide to buy from there, be prepared to pay a big price for them. Season 2 goes for less than season 1 but neither are cheap. :(

The Monkees. It was a comedy series in the mid-1960's.

I bought both seasons the first day they came out. I love this show and pull the DVDs out every other week or so to watch a random episode :)
