Oh, I was told by my mother countless times that I was a waste, a mistake that kept making mistakes. My life was a waste, according to her. Of course, my talents were not what my parents wanted. I loved sports, and was pretty good in baseball, but they thought that was a waste of time, so they never supported me. For example, they never came to a single game I played in college even though I played four years in Division IA and played less than 100 miles from their home. I graduated with honors in High School and had a 3.89 GPA in college, but I was still wasting my time in life. So, yes, I have been told I was wasting my talents...though I was really never told what exactly those talents were.

Many a times, i have been told and sometime feel it myself. But anyway somehow it has not had any impact on me
