Do you love your mother?

It is Mothering Sunday in the UK on Sunday (remember all UK people).
What I want to know is to you get on with your mother or are you just dreading this coming up as it means you will actually have to make the effort with her?
Family life can be stressful and often mothers and children clash and can grow apart as they get older. I know epsecially in the UK it can be like this.
What will you be doing with your mother or buying her?
My mother is a caterer and I will be working for her. My mum isn't into a bio uss ebign made so me and my 12 y ear old sis are halfing in for champayne truffles and a bouquet of flowers. Calalillies are her favourit and we will just give them to her when we get home form work and my sister comes down form her dads.
I know my Mum will be happy with that.

I never got along with my mother and haven't had any contact with her for years - probably about 15 years I think. I have to say that I've never regretted severing all contact with her - sometimes I think you just get to the stage where you have to recognise that some relationships are never going to work out.
So in answer to your question - no I don't love my mother but I have bought a mothers day card and present today for the first time in years. Not from me but from my grandaughter to my daughter. She's only 10 months old so can't buy them herself yet!

That is nice that you got one for your daughter. My Mum deosnt speak to her mother now and I think it is better that way because they never saw eye to eye. Hopefully your daughter has bought you something nice.

I am really fond of my mother though we do not see eye to eye in most of the matters but our love is too much to sort out the differences. Well on this mothering sunday I am far from my mom but next month i have plans to pay her a visit and bring her here with me to stay for at least 5 months.
