You know, I don't even think about the gender of the people I reply to. If I find a topic interesting, I reply to it. If I don't, then I don't. I know online I have often gotten more attention because I am female, and it rather annoys me to be honest. I love talking to people, I'd love to make friends online, but I'm not available. While being hit on once in a while is flattering, never having anyone wanting to speak to you without hitting on you just gets old. I'm sorry that you've been having problems getting responses. I do wish you better luck in the future.

I don't think I can agree with you on this. I am a girl but I'm having a hard getting replies, too. Gender doesn't count in getting replies. It's the discussion that plays the most vital part. If it catches the attention of most members, then many will reply to it. If not, then it will not get a lot of replies.

I don't think so. I think that users in MyLot read the discussion and post responses to the discussions and not to woamen or men. Maybe it can happen about friendship, probably women receive more request of friendship here.
