I don't. I just read the headlines and go through the whole newspaper page after page looking at the pictures and reading their captions. I get my news from watching TV. How about you?

I still read the papers everyday. Just like you, i first read the headlines, to know what's interesting and not. If the article is not of my interest, then i skip it. I also like going to the entertainment section of the paper, where you can find hollywood news & etc.. I also like answering the crossword puzzles in the newspaper.

I used to read newspapers before..but since I got a computer and internet connection, I just read online news.. it's a lot better though coz it can save me money and I can also browse through either local or national news sites.

I get headline news from TV and online. But I read the papers for the editorial section and most of financial news.

I just read also the headlines and look at the pictures and the captions... The only thing I read in the newspaper is the entertainment page. If I want to know the latest news I prefer to watch television or surf the net. I find long text from the papers very unfriendly to my eyes. At least in the internet they are shorter and on tv I just watch or listen to them :)

Not really. I hate getting newsprint on my hands. If my mom has it out on the counter I will read the art section but that's it. I look at my news on Yahoo.

Like you also don't read the newspaper anymore.. We used to subscribe to newspapers like the Philippine Daily Inquirer and The Manila Times before but my mother thinks it's useless because all the needed news can already be extracted from the TV and the radio, she argues... I think my mother is correct however, I think there's more to newspapers that makes it survive up to these times - though it can fully be replaced by other media... Newspapers are a little bit more personal and tangible I guess.. It can arguably be preserved - if needed.. Say, when you pass the board exams, when you see your name on a broad sheet, you can at least cut it out and keep it - that you can't do with TV right? Newspapers display more intelligent insights too - well, as far as my observations are concerned. Because many TV and radio commentaries are in majority [not all ok?] just blah-blah's, unlike the very solid editorials of the paper which surely looms from the thinking mind. B-)

Yes, I do still read the newspaper. It's an old habit with me, drink coffee and read the newspaper while I eat breakfast. I like to keep up with the current events. Sometimes the news on t.v. misses stuff that I find interesting.
