Hi everyone, can you guys help me or give me an idea if i should enroll my kid to a school on june? In our country, toddlers really don't get to school at early age. Your advice will be of great help. ;)

How old is your child?. If he was below 3 years old then he should jus stay home and try to educate him yourself. Here in our country Philippines children ages 3 and above are studying in pre school now. Just for familiarization purposes only. I think it wasnt advisable that children would be put in school at a very early age because they might get tired about learning. Even our doctor have not advised it.

Yeah, I was thinking of that too. My kid is turning 3 this coming june. I want to enroll my kid to lessen her tantrums and behave well to others. She's getting silly at her very young age. She's a bit imp because of her dominance.

I think it differs depending on the child. If your child doesn't have any siblings and seems to have a hard time around other kids, then I think it would be good for the child to interact with other kids. Some schools offer a 2 or 3 day a week program or half day for younger kids. If she seems content and curious at home and gets along with other kids, I don't think you have to be too worried about it. If she seems bored or wants attention all the time, it might be good for her to have structured activities at school. Good luck!

If your child is turning three, it is o.k to enroll him/her to school. I think it is just the right age for the child to learn to interact with his/her peers and to follow instructions from an adult other than her parents and relatives.

I enrolled my daughter in a summer class when she was 2years old & 5 mos. But that is only for 1 month, I wanted her to be familiarize for what the school is, and actually it was plain educational games, just like you, my daughter is a very shy girl, then when June comes I enrolled her into a Learning Center for Nursery she was just 3yrs & 7mos old. And now she's 5yrs old and will attend a Prep in the same Learning school. Maybe it depends on your child, but for me it benefits my child coz she overcome her shyness. Now she's getting good grades and she has lots of friends and actually she's active now in the school activity. But ofcourse guidance and support w/ our parents will always be the best.

Hi, I'm in Australia and have 3 kids. Here we start kindergarten when the kids are 4 and they attend 4 half days a week and then we start school at age 5. My middle daughter is going to start school in May this year. I've never used child care and my kids all seem well adjusted and social (if slightly shy!). It all depends on your own child's personality and your personal preferences. Maybe a playgroup or some other social activity would be a good start?
