OK, so my DH is starting to get a bald spot on the back of his head. He talked to his doctor about it, and the dr. said to try an over-the-counter stuff from Rogain. It is a foam that you rub into the bald area of the head that is supposed to grow hair-- or at least thicken what is up there already. To be honest, I don't know how it works. Has anyone tried it? Does it really work? Is it worth the money? Would you recommend it? I would really like some real-life testimonials to the product, not just the ones on TV. Thank you in advance. :)

I think it works for some people and not for others. I believe if you have male pattern baldness(top, back of the head or front sides)you will not have too much luck with roagain. It sure is expensive enough so maybe it will help some people,

Thank you for the response. We may just try to OTC stuff. It is still cheaper than getting a perscription. :)I guess it wouldn't hurt to try, would it??
