well just a piece of my car just broke off. i was cleaning snow off my car the the cover for the front head light just fell off. if i get stopped while driving, will i autamatically get a ticket or will they give me one of those tickets where it gets revoked if you go in a prove you fixed it with in 24 hours. and does it have to be fixed by a mechanic where you need to show a receipt or can i just fix it myself and show no proven documents just have them look at the car?

you can just fix it you won't get a ticket for it I wouldn't think, you can just use some duck tape if your that worried about it for right now to put it back on, it might just snap back in also depending on what kind of car your driving...you can just fix it yourself it isn't that hard and you can probably go to a junk yard and get the piece you need.

thanks for the advice. actually when it broke all over the back of it was super glue, so i know someone had fixed before i owned the car. so that's what i plan on doing again. the only thing is it's snowing like crazy here so it's too wet to fix it today and i need to drive with out it until it stops snowing. so that's why i'm wondering what will happen if i get stoped.

I don't know about Canada but here as long as you have a reciept proving you bought the part that is usually all you need
