What is the meaning behind your tattoo?

I have 5 tattoos. They are all in places that can be covered, I didn't get them to be cool, to show off, etc. I got them because they mean something. They signify something that happened at some time in my life, or a feeling. I believe that tattoos are a form of art. There are alot of people out there who aren't cool with them, and thats fine.. you do your thing, I'll do mine. Don't judge a book by its cover though, because if you look at me, you'd never think that I had them. So when you do see someone all "inked" up, think before judging.. everyone has their own story.

I only have 2 tats right now, small ones on my left upper arm...one is the symbol for strength (power) and the other is a smiling sun...The strength is pretty much obvious and the smiling sun was drawn for me because #1 I'm always smiling, giddy, silly happy etc and #2 he used to call me Sunshine :-D
I am getting numerous others done though, starting this yr and basically they will tell the story of my life....One very very important one that I'm getting done is a blended portrait of my three kids (I'll have to have the artist combine 3 seperate pics and I wont settle for less than the best because my youngest passed away in '99 so I want it perfect ya know)....and my backwork will be a key "chapter" as well (and also bloody expensive LOL)...
