Will we still have a TV in ten years time?

March 17, 2007 7:00pm CST
Bill Gates recently said that in the near future people will stop to use the tv and only watch tv through the computer. What do you think? Personally I like to have the tv in the background when I'm surfing the internet or cooking food etc. Will we throw out our dear friend the tv or will we still us it in the future?

hi, friend i m with bill gate i think he is right, because we see that in our generation a computer is best place of entertainment,so if we get the entertainment and knowledge by sitting at a one place means on a computer so y we can buy a t.v, our choice is first to buy a computer, because now a days a coputer need is very essential just like food.

Yeah I see what you mean but I still don't think that we will stop using the tv. I think it has been such an important part of peoples life and that people will go for both...Because if you can't afford a new tv it's soo cheap to buy a new one.

I don't think computers would be able to replace TV, i also have the tv on while browsing. Not everyone can use computers, or even owns one. The tv is just a lot more convenient.
