Okay...where is the strangest place you've found a set of keys you lost?

I seem to be on a key "theme"...but have been wondering where the weirdest place is that you have found a set of keys that you thought or had lost?...My cousins and I were staying in a hotel at the beach and when it came time to check out of the room we all had to turn in our room keys...everyone had theirs except her...the hotel wanted to charge us extra if we stayed in the room looking for it..or extra if we couldn't find it so they could change the lock...it was a 3 hour delay and we tore apart everything...we even unpacked suitcases..we took out the carmats...we finally left and put the $100.00 on a credit card to cover the costs....We were driving back up the coast and had to stop at a reststop..everyone was still trying to figure out where her key could have gone..and while we were talking I noticed a wierd thing poking out of her tank top as she raised her arm...I asked her what it was and yep...you guessed it..the key WITH THE KEY CHAIN was in her bra and she didn't even notice it...We all just howled and couldn't drive on for quite a while as we couldn't stop laughing...we called the hotel and made arrangements to mail it back and they tore up the charge....We never let her forget that obviously she doesn't need breast enlargement...she already has too much in her bra...and can't keep track of what she does have!!! How about you? What location blew you away when you finally located the lost keys?

I have found my keys in the fridge. I must have delibrately put them ther. I cannot say what my brain was doing while I did it. I allways check that keys are in my pocket when I go outside, so it took a long time to find them. Actually I stopped to look and decided to make some coffee whith milk. And yes...

The attic. I am mostly a home body and leave the house once or twice a month. I got some collectibles and put them in teh attic. Left my keys right on top of the boxes I was in such a hurry to store away. Went nuts for about three days, used hubby's keys. Then he went into the attic for something completely different and brought them down to me. He was so mystified he did not even ask.

Well normally I do not lose my keys but I have found some keys of my in the glove box of my car which I do not remember putting there that was the weirdest place that I have found my keys. I bet you never let her forget it but I have put different things down my bra as well to hide them.

My mom is a habitual key loser. I don't know how she manages to do it, but she can set her keys down in a location where we've all seen them, and then the next day they wont be where she left them. One time, we ended up finding them under the couch and she was NEVER there with her keys. In fact, she had never been in the living room with her purse or keys that day. We've also found her keys on bathroom shelves and in shoes.

Before Christmas, I asked my husband to move our car and put the 2nd row seats in the mini van down. He came in and went to bed. I had a friend bring our stuff for Christmas and I packed the car. My hubby works night so no one noticed the keys missing untill he started to leave. He swore he brought them in. We looked everywhere including the trash. I go out to car and start looking. There are his keys. They were under a box in the back. It would have been funny if he wasn't so mad.

Wow, I never did that before however my boobs have caught a lot of wierd things before. My mother had a terrible habit of losing her keys and once we found them in the freezer. She didn't even remember opening the frezer for any reason so I don't know how they ended up there. She must lose her keys every day but luckly it's always some place at home.

It's not such a strange place as much as it was a huge amount of time later that I found them. I found them in our bushes, evidently I had sat them on the steps an they got knocked off into the bushes and literally years later found them! As a matter of fact,the car key that was on it was for a van we had gotten rid of! LOL

That must have been very strange to find something lost for so long!!! When we first moved into our house 30 some years ago I was digging in the flower garden and found a set of keys..of course we never knew who they belonged to ...but it was obviously a house key, and 2 car keys..I always wondered how they got buried so deeply!!

the oddest place i found my keys after i lost them was in the trash while i was taking it out to the rubbish. it was just as well i found them, otherwise it would have had to pay a fortune to replace each key. but i gotta admit, finding a keychain in a bra is pretty darned hillarious...
