I have this book called "The Plot Thickens...Harry Potter investigated by fans for fans". It's a collection od discussions and articles about various mysterys and theories from the first 5 Harry Potter books. There is one discussion called "The Marauders-What Went Wrong?", in case you dont know who the heck the marauders are, they are refering to James Potter,Sirius,Lupin, and Pettigrew aka "Wormtail". The article brings up how when the Potters went into hiding, they decided to change the Secret Keeper to Pettigrew instead of Sirius because they felt Sirius would be too obvious of a choice. But why didnt they choose Lupin? He was much stronger than Pettigrew and seemed to be closer to James than Pettigrew was. Does anybody have any theories on that?

I would like to read this...is there one particular author who put it all together?
That's a good question about Lupin,, though. Maybe for the same reason that they changed from Sirius? Pettigrew was the one who was not as close, but still in their circle. Just a thought!
