I'm not sure I understand- Are you hanging up on them because you are frustrated or frustrated because the call is cut off? I don't think I've ever hung up on any family- I guess I don't get that frustrated- plus I think it's rude. If someone hung up on I wouldn't answer if they called back- So in this case I would say wait for a while-- Over 1 hour- cool off and be ready to apologize for hanging up on them.

If it's an overseas call then I wait until they call me back. However, if I made the call initially, then I will call back. The only times that this has ever happened was when I was living in Samoa - telecommunications in Samoa is not good at all and often I would have trouble getting through and staying on the line.

i think hanging up on someone sends out a very powerful message. It lets the other person know that you are too far gone for rational debate or are scared you might say something that can never be taken back. I dont remember the last time i did it but have had it done a few times. It is extremely frustrating, i would rather people either fight their corner or addmit they are wrong, not run away and hide blessed be

I do not hang up on anyone that calls me. I do not just hang up without saying good bye. It is plain rude to me. I hope this is not during a conversation only the ringing portion. I think you should all have computer and IM each other. Much cheaper! I don't talk on the phone alot anyway, my son is in Florida and my parents are 2 hours away. We write letters and son and I email.

Do you mean a dropped call, or do you mean someone has intentionally hung up on you? If someone has hung up on me intentionally, I dont call them back at all. Forget about it. If a call was dropped, I usually wait a few seconds for them to get into a better area, or see if they call me back, but I don't wait long. I have a friend who loses her signal all the time in her house, adn we call each other back constantly until we are done talking..

I usually let them call me back when I get frustrated and hang up. I mean I need some time to cool off. If they do not call me back, I will usually call them back an hour or so later. If they hang up on me, I usually call them back immediately and demand an answer as to why they hung up ...lol.

It really depends on who i am talking to and what the discussion is about. if it is my wife or my family, or if the discussion very important, then I woul dprobably call back as soon as I realized what happened. Of course, I am just talking to someone or casually discussing something that might not be too important, I would wait a couple of minutes or for the reception to improve before I made another attempt to make the call again.
