Was it a right decision for Rahul to bat first after winning the toss?

I feel Rahul Dravid made a big error to bat first after winning the toss in India-Bangladesh worldcup ODI match. He knew that there was moisture in the wicket and even then he went for batting. By doing this he has lost the match as well the confidence of openers who were struggling to come to form. I am sure this decision will go down the history as the most bad decisions ever.
