Default Avatar??

There are no doubt quite a few people who have difficulty finding or uploading an avatar, but I suspect that the main reason is that many consider it superfuous. I spend a fair amount of my spare time here, so I felt that it was worthwhile personalising my profile page and uploading an avatar, although everyone will not feel the same way. I would not have thought that it created a lot of confusion, and I have even changed mine about 7 or 8 times so far.

I too believe it's important to have an avatar but many people disagree, it's not an obligation to have one but it does give some advantages.. for instance I can easily identify my friends and rate them when they are responding to the same discussions i respond to, so indirectly an avatar helps you get a better star rate too..
