I had a C-section birth with my first baby because she was too big for me so not planned but not an emergency either. I was in labor for 12 hrs before my doctor decided to make a c-section. I can't imagine how much pain it was... Did you have a C-section, was it planned? or do you have a Viginal birth?

I had a C-section with all 3 of my kids. My first child I was over 24 hours in labour and I did not dialate. Finally they gave me a section. They decided to go that way for the rest of my kids. I was gestational diabetic for the last 2 and given the birth difficulties of the first the planned for a section but in both cases I went into labour a month early.

I had an emergency c section. It didn't hurt a bit. But then again, I was a little bit knocked out. LOL. I had her on a monday and stayed in the hospital til Thursday. I was at Walmart that weekend. Life must go on I guess.

How weird? My scar is fine. Never hurts. My mom is a nurse and I had her look at it daily after I got home.

I had 2 c-sections. With my first child, the c-section was due to complications. Deep down, I am glad it turned out that way. Not only were their complications---He was 12 pounds 4 ounces at birth. With my second child that was just over 5 yrs later the doctors wanted me to have NATURAL BIRTH. I thought who are they kidding. If the first one was over 12 pounds there was no way I was going to try to push something out that big NATURALLY. I now thank modern technology for seeing that child #2 was going to be close to the same size as her brother. Finally after the ultrasound at 6 months along the doctors agreed with me and allowed me to plan for a c-section. They took her about 2-1/2 weeks early and she was 10 pounds 8 ounces. If she would have gone term, they said she could have weighed as much or more than her brother did. They tried to say gestational diabetes was a factor, but I was tested numerous times and that was not the case. It was all in the DNA. I swear by the c section, and if you can plan it that is even better. You know what your limits are and the doctors will understand that.
