Ok, I have a website and i am wondering as to the most effective way of increasing web traffic for it?

to make it popular you should try to make friendship with people who are very popular on the web. if they want then they can write about your site and thus many people will visit your website.

maybe you should try link exchange. just like what i did to my www.glittersonline.com im having higher hits now after 3months.

For a beginning, please give the name of the website and what is it about ? People (the target audience) should find something useful for them. I too have 2 websites . The pharma one is www.ostiummedica.co.in and the placement website is www.stimulus.co.in The site is still being developed and we are also trying to increase the traffic.
