A World Cup isnt a World Cup until we see the crackling fireworks between INDIA and PAKISTAN.. and since INDIA has a record of winning every match against PAKISTAN played in all the World Cups, it makes things even better:) BUT... it is still the first round of the ICC WORLD CUP 2007 and PAKISTAN has been mercilessly kicked out of the series... Will you miss the wonder INDO-PAK match??? I certainly would!!!

Yes, we shall miss Pakistan and even we may not reach the super 8s and even if the match was to happen, India should have got a win but it is always good to watch a India-Pakistan match and I will miss it. Anyways, even if we get to see India in the super 8s, it will be great.

I am not sure, maybe Indians will follow the Pakistan's style, if they don't play well today against Bermuda, or every other game, they may be the next ones to shock the world. But, I am really upset for what happened to Bob Woolmer. I am not able to believe it, or digest it.

It looks like India is going to follw Pakistan team home. I think even Indian cricketers feel there is no point playing on jsut for a cup if pakistan is not playing. lol. quite a cynicla view but what to do trying to put some humor in the worst of situations. I felt that the teams performance was as bad as the slogan someone had designed to cheer them up. I hated it and now we can say boohoo India hai hai India that how bad they played.

I guess based on yesterday's performance of both the teams, it is a fair result. Both Pakistan and India were shambolic in their batting and were exposed by disciplined club class bowlers. They also were shown up by two teams who were excellent on the field and had more desire to win. I don't think I would miss the Indo-Pak match as these days there are too many of these matches and the charm of these matches is on the decline. I guess we should not play more than once every two years to retain the charm of the competition. Cheers! Ram

This is for sure! Everybody is going to miss the India taking head on head with Pakistan in this World Cup. India Vs Pakistan matches have always been worth watching and people of these two countries are emotionally attached with these matches. Here, its not just a cricket game, but its about the pride of the country since India and Pakistan don't share good political relations! We are certainly going to miss lots of emotions, lots of agression, lots of firework and many more such things! (But hey, India looks like being in a mood to come back to India just laike Pakistan did... how will it be to arrange a cricket match between the two here?? Ha Ha Ha.. Just kidding!!)

Now- what do you say? Now, there's no Diwali in India. Perhaps, there would be one if India beats Sri Lanka and make it to the supre8.
