Very well said....there was no fight or Will to win....but i suppose this will give the necessary fire in their belly to do well in the coming games ....losing the first match of a tournament has always spurred the team to perform well in the latter matches

sehwag is lost in form now. it is big waste to include sehwag in team. last time india loses to ban due to sehwag's wicket. sehwag is a utter waste and including him as opener is not effective. playing in middleorder may be efeective.

Sehwag has been good with the ball. He can bat 1 down or so. Or he can bat late in the innings as well. We need a good start and then have wickets for the slog overs. We still have a chance, but, we have to wait and watch if our team does come up with a better performance or not.

I don't feel it is the right time for a wake up call. We should have got it in the practise matches because this wake up call now could result in us returning back before even qualifying in the Super 8s. Now, we need to beat Srilanka and score at a good rate against Bermuda and even win that match because if we win the two matches and Bangladesh win against Bermuda and lose against Srilanka then the run rates of the two teams (India and Srilanka) will be compared and the team with higher run rate will qualify for the next round.

i think the sehwag sholud return back to india and karthik should be included in the playing 11.as per as wake up call i think this will be called as a wake call only if they qualify for the super 8 stage.
