Did anyone try the MXR DD Dime Distortion pedal?

I am curios about the MXR DD Dime Distortion pedal. I'd like to know if it is good just for power metal or for hard & heavy genres too. What can you say comparing it to other famous distortion pedals? Thank you and bye.
