What is the best weapon og Gears?

What do you lot think the best weapon is in gear of war?
I think is the shotgun is the best gun, this is becauseits close range shots and its the most pwerfullest, whats your views?

yeah..doesnt really matter where you hit em when your shooting with a torque bow....i heard some dude call it the "arrow"....he'd be playing the game while saying "where did he get that arrow....he's been killing us with that arrow!!"..freakin hilarious!!

Hm, personally I think it's a good mixture.
The torq isn't the greatist, it's just another weapon lol
See, let's think about some things for a min..
Shotgun is great at close range, reaver is good for mid range. Pistol in my opinion beats the reaver because of the high rate of fire and damage..
Torq is nice, but has a LONG usage time. Honestly, I'm not the greatist with it, but I can use it well.
I'm really not sure lol.. In my opinion, EVERY SINGLE WEAPON IN THAT GAME IS BALANCED, EVEN THE CHAINSAW. If you get chainsawed, you deserve it (lol) You can just easily shoot the person when he comes at you. Um..
Pistol melees are VERY good, they stun you, then you get another hit and thier down. But there's a way out of it, in mid hit, hold back and press A to dodge back..
Yeah, I'm rambling
All weaps are balanced. I pwn with all of them. ;D

you would eventually be good with all of them....but if you were to stay playing even after you got all the achievements it would be messed up because you got new players comming on to play the game almost everyday...with no idea how to shoot the weapon properly or dont communicate that well.or just suck completely at the game...and thats just not fair...

yeah...most definately...the headshots because you see their heads pop off...and the chainsaw because the little boogie they do when their being sawed into pieces...

yea i like the shotgun too. u cant beat having a shotgun close range to your enemy

In my opinion the shotgun is the best lancers good but the bayonet sometimes screw you over and the hammer of dawn is just cool looking and only good for seeders and berserkers usually sucks against regular units. But with shotgun its powerful shots and powerful melee attacks.

The two best weapons to have is the shotgun and the longshot. The shotgun is good for up close and the longshot is good for great distances. When you use the shotgun make sure that your controller sensitiviy is on high so you can aim quickly.
