The greatest love epic of all time

Oh my! Too many to choose from! So my own personal favourites are Wuthering Heights. Romeo and Juliet. Casablanca. Gone with the wind! There are so many greats! I think if I had to pick one novel it would be Wuthering Heights. One film would be Casablanca!

Love Story

Three come to mind. Titanic, the English Patient and Dr.Zhivago.

I'd have to say Romeo and Juliet.

Tristan and Isolde was an epic tale of two young lovers who couldn't be together for a very good reason...their countries were at war with each other, and they were both in high positions in their countries. If they were both nobodies then I don't think it would have mattered so much, but that wasn't the case. It's an excellent movie with a great storyline!

greatest love epic of all time... i have to answer TRISTAn and ISOLDE. :)) 1) TRISTAN and ISOLDE -- if you didn't know their story better think again. it is truly an epic. its amazing how tristan decided not because it is easy, but because it is right. :)) and for me that is simply brave. he sacrifice his happiness for his love to BRITAIN.. :)) although he also realize that without love he is nothing, his life is empty.

Well, the first thing that comes to mind is Helen of Troy.. I could see how their love affect the history. Imagine how their love cause the world at war, it's very interesting..
