how do you mend a broken heart?

first i'm sorry you hurting right now..every wonder why they call them crushes? because thats how it feels when its over...after a 5 relationship ended for me with who i considered my soul mate i was like you no direction, just make it stop hurting....then you learn it needs to hurt to heal..i wrote in a healing journal each and everyday and it seemed to me good grief this is the saddest book ever..then i would have a day that was a little brighter maybe a little thing happened (someone smiled at me)anything...it seems by taking stock of your feelings you take back your control and realize the only one that can make it better is you...and some day all your journal thoughts will be happier ...I hope this helps...just know it won't always feel like today Cheryl
