I have a question for you, What would you remove from a burning house, the family is safe as well as the pets and you only can carry your wallet and, What would the AND be? Love to hear all your answers. I think mine would be my favorite painting.

I think it would have to be my sons baby book. It has all of the memories I want him to have in there. Ultrasound pictures, thoughts and feeling jotted down while I was pregnant, all of the firsts, pictures, all of it. I would want him to have those things. That was a tough question. My initial thought was my laptop, because my entire life is on this thing, but data can be replaced. So I think it would have to be the baby book.

Mine would have to be an antique music box, and an antique doll, both of which belonged to my mother. It would be too painful to lose those, as both of my parents are up in Heaven now. And since they are small and close together, I could grab them both at the same time.

I hope this counts as I have more than one journal? I keep a daily diary of all my thoughts, events and experiences and would be lost without them, there is half a dozen books, which are all kept in one place, so I would take all of those.

Well, I am glad that the family and pets are ok. That would be my main priority. Next, I have a box with all our important papers in them. Our marriage certificate, birth certificates, kids report cards, family pictures, deeds to land and titles to vehicles, savings bonds, etc. This box is set in a special location so we can grab it and go. This is one of the preparations that we have in place for such an emergency. I would grab that box.

I think I'd probably grab the bag I keep my scrapbooking stuff in. It's got my scrapbook of course as well as my pictures. It would hurt to lose the pictures of my children. They grow up so fast. They've changed so much since they were babies. It's nice to look at the pictures and play remember when...

I think would have to take my lap top. I have most of my special pictures stored in my lap top. I also have all my job contacts, addresses and a lot of other important info stored it it. So I ould have to say my lap top. Our house burnt to the ground when my children were very young. My husbsnd woke up and discovered the fire. He woke me up saying the house is on fire let's get the babies out of here. By the time we got the children to safety it was to late to even get the walet.
