When I worked in California I managed a waterbed store and worked bartending 2 nights a week.I was working the night prior to my bday at the bar .They had a party at the bar and later it got slow .This guy walked in played a game of pool then came to the bar .He pointed a 357 with a silencer at me and told me to hand him the money from the cash drawer.I looked at that handgun and was scared but it was the silencer that sent chills down my spine.I kept trying to open the cash register and all I could think was that when I was through he would shot all of us,myself and 2 others. Why would he have a silencer if he didn't intend to shoot the gun.I finally got the drawer open and grabbed the twenties first because thats where I could set off the silent alarm.I handed him the money. He told us to lay face down on the floor at the back of the place behind the pool table.I was so scared lying there wondering if I would feel it and about who would care for my kids and a million other things when I realized it was very quiet .I turned my head so I could see the guy next to me and he mouthed that he thought the guy was gone..We finally got up as the police burst through the door with guns and shields and that's when I peed myself!lol
I do have another robbery story in another discussion. Do you have a scary story?

oh gosh that is terrible, I was never in a situation like that. Only once I was in the bank when it was robbed, but nobody got hurt and it was all over in 5 minutes.

Well Ray I have to say that must have been really scary for you
I know I would not have handled that as well as you did. Did they ever find the Guy. I really hope they did. I am so glad that you never got hurt though I really am and I hope you never have to experience this again.

Wow... I'd probably just pass out if something like that happened to me. Sounds like the police scared you worse than the robber did though. I haven't had anything nearly that scary happen, but I was wondering if the guy got caught.

I've been through some scary stuff but nothing like this! I 've been at work when stories like this have come up and my boss always says that I am way more important to him than money and that if it ever came to it just give them the money and keep myself safe!
