I like to listen to music with a strong, epic feel, such as epic metal in the form of Nightwish, Hammerfall, Dragonforce, and even songs outside of the US like Megumi Hayashibara's "Tamashii no Refrain" from Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Susumu Hirasawa's "Forces" (including the Godhand Mix), and Sign, both from the anime Berserk. Those that came close to me shedding a tear in the US is Nightwish's "10th Man Down", Hammerfall's "Heeding the Call", and Dragonforce's "Through the Fire and Flames". Are there any songs that are so powerful, and so moving, and pulls at the heartstrings that it almost made you cry or even shed tears?

The song "Signs" remade by Tesla (can't remember who did it originally) brings tears to my eyes nearly every time I hear ". . . and the sign said 'Everybody Welcome. Come in, kneel down and pray.' Well they passed the plate around the house and I didn't have a penny to pay. So I got me a pen and a paper, and I made up my own little sign: Thank You, Lord for thinkin' 'bout me. I'm alive and doin' fine." The song "Somethin' to Believe In" by Poison has the same effect.
