What represent number in the coloured star beside our nick?

Can anybody tell me about this? What is the meaning of that number and which one is better, more value or less value? And how we can adjust all of that? Tq :-)

This is known as star rating . It is Mylot
user reputation system . This star rating
is provided after reaching 100 points on
this Mylot site .
the highest star rating is 10 (i.e. 100
out of 100) and the minimum star rating
is 1 (i.e. 01 out of 100) . so best is 10 .
This star rating mainly denotes our
activity on this site; And it also reveals
the quality of our posts as perceived by
other Mylot members ( thru +,-,! ratngs) .
