For Women -- Do You Wear High Heels Constantly Or Seldomly?

Nowadays in the market that advertises women to look sexy or beautiful when wearing open toe high heels or platforms. The known fact that can cause is pressure on their feet that can develop boils, callouses, fungus, and enlarged bone growth on the side which is abnormal. I do believe it is proper for a woman to wear them on special occasions or seldom. I can understand for special events like parties, beauty pageants, weddings, funerals or even Church. What do you have to say about this?

I seldom wear high heels. Why? Mainly because I am not comfortable wearing it. I usually wear rubber shoes or sneakers. Honestly, I am a bit small compared to the average height of a woman but this is not a reason for me to wear high heels. I only wear them on events such as when I am hosting a program or any formal commitments.

I never wear high heels no matter where I am going or what I am doing. The only time I did wear them, my feet hurt afterwards, and my back hurt for nearly three weeks afterwards. I don't recommend women wearing them at all, but many perfer to wear them, I just don't see the point in making oneself uncomfortable to please people they may never see again in their lives.

it depends on the kind of high heels... I don't wear the stilleto type, the one with "closed" toes/shoe, with 3inches high, nope I don't, it's not comfortable, it's not my personality. But I do wear heels with open toes but not that high. I like my shoes comfortable, reserving the stylish ones for special occasions only.

I wear them often. I wear them to work at least 3 days a week (I teach, so some days, I just want my comfy shoes, especially when I know we'll be doing a project where I'll be moving around more than usual. I enjoy wearing them, and I always feel more professional when I wear them.

I think some of the ladies horrified of high heel shoes haven't found good pairs of high heel shoes. You may have to pay more to find better made shoes, but it's worth it to me. I have a pair of gorgeous red high heels with 4 inch heels and pointy toes, and after 9 hours on my feet, I am still completely comfortable.

I hardly ever wear high heels, one because i'm tall so i dont really need to and two because they might look nice but after about an hour they kill. I dont mind not wearing them at all, i often prefer to wear flat shoes they are far more comfy and generally they look just as good and my feet arent killing by the end of the night.

For women, wearing high heels makes us feel sexy. Its good to wear it during special occasions. But I wear shoes with heels that are not so high, about 2 and a half inches. There are shoes that are comfortable even with high heels so its good to choose a comfortable one when buying them.

hi it's good to see you here. I actually prefer this paid site than other ones. About what you said I totally understand what you're talking about. I've known women back in Naga City that were forced to wear them on a daily basis. It can be a pain of course.

hallo, I'm a girl who uses high heels very very sheldomly. The majour reasons for that is that I walk really a lot, and there are very few days when I suppose I might weare those shoses without disturbance. When I started, I was always fiding my self in the most unconfortable situations : an unespected excurtion, a longer walk in the city, some unwalkable pavement. Yes, there are reasons to appreciate them aesthetically, but for the rest...they are not really good, starting with the hard noise which is beating in the head at every step! Plataform shose are the "sobstitute" i would suggest to someone who likes hight shoes, but cannot reduce movement and fisical freedom for the sake of them

I use to wear hills all the time. But a few years ago I was in a bad car wreck that broke my ankle. Now I can't wear hills. Sometimes I'll suffer threw a pair of platform shoes but no pointy hills for me anymore. I loved them though. They was so cute but now I cant wear them.

A few years back, I used wear stilettos and high platforms. Platforms were okay but I had been having problems with stilettos. Beside medical problems, I was tripping, skitting and slipping. Once, I actually , fell on road a foot away from a car. Now, I have stopped completely and only wear flat slippers. On party days I try to be happy on wearing fancy slippers. Thank you

I'm not willing to sacrifice my health for beauty, and besides beauty is on the inside. I need my feet for walking thank you. I don't think that it should be 'proper' for women to wear them to any occasion, that would be somewhat sexist to be expect women to wear them

Quite a long time ago when I was in the Air Force I was issued a pair of high heels. I put them on a was going to wear them with my uniform. I nearly broke my neck with them on. I took them off and haven't had a pair on since. I am the type of person that I don't follow fashion. I wear what is comfortable for me and high heels are not comfortable so they do not go on my feet. In fact I don't own a pair of high heels.

I don't like wearing high heeled-shoes honestly. My feet hurts every time I where them. I normally wear snickers or chucks or just plain flipflops or flats.
