Using Myspace -- I Don't Use It Much Now? How About You?

Since 2005 I was heavy on using myspace and even last year. But due to the fact of the constant errors and issues that kept popping out on myspace I got tired of it. Due to it's "Unexpected Errors" "Underconstruction" process of forums and groups and receiving spam from other users was ridiculous. Also a known fact that people have had their accounts/profiles hacked when copying codes on their profile. That is what they call phishing attack known from popular myspace layouts. How about you? Are you a constant user of myspace? Why or why not?

I still use myspace because I think it's a great way to keep in touch with friends and family. I live across the country from everyone I really know so it's much easier to have them on my profile and leave messages and comments. I also post pictures of my daughter (my profile is set to private of course) so that my family and friends can watch her grow and change even though I can't be near them. My account was hacked into once, the errors and problems are pretty annoying but I think it's worth it for the sake of talking to people I probably wouldn't keep in touch with if it wasn't for myspace.

I used mySpace like crazy for about six months now, mostly to blog. I had a pretty good fanbase until FOX had some problems with my opinions and cancelled my account for some BS reason (copyright violations - if that was true, they would have to cancel every account they have). I opened a new account and started againa couple days ago, so building up a fanbase, but I don't use it as much. Just not the same with such a small fanbase.

I find that there are so many website opportunities to keep in touch with friends now - myspace, facebook, livejournal, hi5, etc. but I enjoy myspace the most. When I first got it, I pretty much ignored it for a year. Now I find that I am keeping in touch with old friends more because of it. I don't find myself plagued by spam because I keep my friends group fairly small. I also commend myspace for their role in helping small bands acheive some degree of success they might not have enjoyed otherwise.

I definately Use myspace Like RELIGIOUSLY!! lol My problem is the Unexpected Errors and also underconstruction. You can get rid of spam by lettin the friend you have that keeps spaming you know that someone has hacked there myspace, and is posting this. Anyways. I Love myspace definately because i am able to get in touch with people i havent seen in a LONG time lol. No matter what the issues are.. im always like OMG i so gotta check my myspace :)) that is why i love myspace and i am a 23 year old taken female. Im just addicted

I have a myspace, I check it 2 or 3 times a day usually. I've had my myspace for about a year now.I am just always curious about the new comments or messages i may have got and thats the reason it draws me to to check it every day.

This is probably going to make me sound really odd, but I've nvereven been to MySpace. I'm totally new to the computer thing. I've heard a whole bunch of bad stuff about MySpace on tv and from some people that have used it and I just don't have any desire to go there.

Nope. MySpace isn't as big in the Philippines as Friendster or Multiply are.

I'm so addicted to myspace. The error messages you get are just a part of the internet world. Too many ppl in one little space. Between that and the hackers they have to constantly update.
