Hey friends, I have been wondering whether US will ever stop in its military endeavour?First it was Afghanistan, whose Taliban government was once supported by the US. Then, it was Iraq whose oil resources were always a delicious lollipop for them. Now, we are sure that Iran and North Korea will meet the same fate. Is the US following the same policies of suppressing other countries' sovereignty, just as England did in the middle ages?

Coincidentally, today (March 18) is the 4th "anniversary" of the US' entry into their most recent war. Most Americans are against it and hope that a new administration will get us the he** out. meantime Pres Bush wants to send in another 21,000 troops. believe me, this is not the will of the people.

Unfortunately, I don't think we will stop our ways until Bush is out of office. It's a sad state of affairs when the whole world just kind of perceives America as bullies, and most of the country is against almost all of our foreign policy that is in play right now. All I can really say is... Bush isn't my President!

I am afraid the USA is misguided in its attempts to change the world to be a better place free of terror. It is not working to support governments which the people do not support. I do think however that supporting those who are being hurt by people like the Bosnian Serbs is a good thing.

You are absolutely right dear. USA is misguided but what is guiding it are the vast resources of these countries. What will you say of the situation when the US set aside all the UN direcions and attacked Iraq, even though Saddam was cooperating very well. No surprise that no W.M.D. were found in Iraq after Saddam's downfall.

As long as the big corporations are there Us and its ally won't stop the war. They are the ones who concoct the ideas for the governments of powerful nations to push for a war. These wars are economic in nature using politics as shield for attacking. The reason why Abraham Lincoln were assassinated is because he warn of the impending rise to power of the corporations to the government. Now its happening, even Kennedy were assassinated because he dislike the idea of going to war with Vietnam.

Thanks a lot for your response dear. What you are saying is very true. The big corporations are pressurizing the governments. Even the documentary Fahrenheit 9/11 showed the dirty connections of corporate world with politics. Now the question arises how these governments can withstand this pressure, given that their country's economy, and subsequently, the election results depend on these corporates.

What I feel is that the only way to stop US from plundering other countries is that all the third world countries stand up and form a common peaceful front against US' policies. I also think that these countries should have a greater say in the world bodies such as the United Nations so that incidents like Iraq war do not happen again.

hi. US is going to stop rather it is going to crash. It is just that they have to go out of resources or that the other countries come united against it. also at the same time the citizens of US themselves are against the government. moreover the economy is also get unbalanced as more of the money is going in defense and the money allotment to the societal benefits is reducing. well when u compare it with england they are totally different as they are establishing a new government though it is a puppet in hands of US but at least the US itself is not governing and also they r pouring lot of money in those countries instead of taking money from their country. they are giving more human rights to people then they used to had. overall the conditions are going to improve in a long run. Talking about Iran and North America, I will say that both of them are safe from US as they both have nuclear weapon. North America has declared it and I think Iran behavior towards enrichment of uranium shows that they are really close to nuclear weapons. And also if people say that they are doing all this for oil then they have got very much and they can use it till more advanced technology comes.
