Preview Problems Of Discussions!

Five times in a row I've tried to start a discussion. I used the preview button. Then the page goes right back to the home page. It doesn't check for censored words as usual. It just goes to the home page. Grrrr!!! I've done this five times like I stated and it has yet to post. Is anyone else experiencing this? Or has anyone experienced this in the past? It's frustrating to say the least. What's the problem here?

You're not alone, grandpa. It seems everyone are having this problem too. I once posted a 10 lines response and when I hit the "post response"...voila, I found all my response in connection error. Its frustrating to say the least. I need to recall what I typed down. I hope mylot will do something about it. :)

5th attempt at this comment GRRRR!
With the copy paste option you should copy every discussion you start every response and every comment just for situations as this. That's what I do anyhow. It's so helpful when these glitches occur.

I know what u feel bout it too..
Actually sometimes i am experiencing that too..
And its kinda annoying but i have nothing to do with that,
i just let it to happened even it annoys me sometimes.

yes it can be very frustrating when you have the right words to type then after you do they just go away. Uggg.

I never use the preview button. I just edit my response, or discussion mysewlf. I have typing problems,which causes spelling problems. It saves time with me editing, rather than preview.
Try not using preview Bob, and see what happens.

I tried just posting and the same problems. It happened a few timres when trying to respond and to comment. MyLot says they'll fix it and so far seems to work now. HAHA.

I also have had problem using preview, but it is different from your experience. My case is once or twice after I had typed in the content and uploaded an image then I hit the preview button, it takes ages for the system to reload the page. But I think it might not be the problem from mylot. It may be my computer memory issue or the internet congestion which causes the problem to happen.

YOur problem is in your PC not the mylot check the internet options if the configuration makes bother the operation of your explorer. Asks the technician about this may be would help you.

Please read other responses here also before you respond as others have had or are having the same problem. Thank you very much. My computer is fine as I have been to other pages and other discussions posting there. Thanks again.

YES!! It has happened to me several times and I have lost everything that I typed! I just stopped using the preview and post it without previewing. I thought about maybe typing it in my email program, then pasting it into myLot so that I have it in the email in case the preview function failed again. But, I decided to just not use preview. It is very frustrating to put a lot of thought into what you are posing and then to lose it all in a press of a button! I feel your pain! I did not report it though because I just thought it was happening to me!

Oh yes - many times that has happened to me - amongst all sorts of other strange glitches that happen from time to time on MyLot. I guess it is such a large community, with so many different users, and time zones, etc, there are bound to be problems from time to time.

Grandpa Bob I have the same problem and I also see my page doesn't refresh and it takes forever to do anything. I hope since we are up tp 80,000 members mylot is upgrading their system to keep with the demand.

I logged out and rebooted cleaing all my temp & history files etc and there wasn't mention on the home page of any updating so it's a glitch. I just tried posting another discussion with the same irritating results. HAHAHA.
