Sore throat and flu..

I have a sore throat which keeps coming back like in two weeks now. I theorize that the sore throat may be due to an upcoming flu. I have not taken any medicine for sore throat but i took medicine for my flu. Why is it that whenever i hgot a flu, i get also a sore throat? Anyone help.. What natural medicine can help cure sore throat..fast?? It bothers me more than my flu.

oh very bad that you have that recuurent problem. i had once and it hurts badly while trying to swallow anything. the best natural remedy i found was the goosberry donno if you have tried that. put some goosberries (punch them with a fork on all sides) in bottle of salt water. add a pinch of red chilly powder and keep them for a couple of days. everdsy make it a point to eat one after your lunch. it sure will help.

Thank you for suggesting but i think we dont have goosberries here. What we have is calamnsi, its like a small lemon. It can be made into a hot juice. Somehow, it lessens the pain of sore throat.
