can u tell me the latest processor and motherboard which is known for its performance.my 1st aim of working in mylot is to earn money to buy the processor and motherboard.my dream pc is assembled with AMD processor and asus mobo.and necessarily with nvidia graphic card.

for the fastest just get a quad core "kentsfield" intel processor and for the motherboard don't just buy it because its asus, try to identify its chipset. currently intel has 975x chipset and for nvidia nforce 680i so you choose between those top chipsets

Even I always was by AMD's side, but now if you are really looking forward to upgrade your PC, go for Core2Duo processors, I have personally benchmarked them and are far superior than the AMD counterparts. AMD has better single core processors even now, but for multicore processors Core architecture is better. More importantly, you can get the Athlon series processors from 25$- 100$ range, that is really cheap.
