how long ru in stamp collection and what are the themes you look for

Hello sikkim...... I've been collecting a little more than 48 years and my interests are leaning more towards Postal History rather that just stamps. Whole covers/envelopes that show where it traveled to and from, when it traveled, who sent it and who received it. I prefer older material because it reminds me of my younger days when I had just begun my collection, although there are many new items that I also find appealing. I guess my themes would be...."stuff I like" One type of thing I've been thinking about lately is to try to find/acquire an item of mail from every country involved with mylot and something from each of my mylot friends. I am also interested in trying to find an item of mail from each of India's states. I'm sure that these are long term very slow projects but that is the nature of collecting.....a few items at a time. I'm also curious about the types of things other collectors are interested in, what do you find exciting ? What material are you interested in ? Would you like some US material ? Tom
